A new entry in Sheva: Victor Paukstelis

Johann Sebastian Bach: French suite No 5
Anatoly Lyadov: Piano pieces
Alexander Scriabin: Etude Op. 8, No 12

One of the most important projects of the year
A cycle of French songs by Reynaldo Hahn and Émile Paladilhe recorded by the American pianist Eric Le Van and his daughter, the soprano Solene Le Van

Sheva Collection celebrates its 100th release with a major project: the complete works for violin and piano by Chrles Villiers Stanford on 3 CDs
Almost half the pieces are première recordings. A few, still in manuscript, have been specially edited by the pianist, Christopher Howell.

Howell, Stanford champion for over 40 years, is joined by the outstanding italian violinist Alberto Bologni.
If prizes were awarded for musical enterprise I am sure that Christopher Howell and Sheva would be regular winners.
It is hard to imagine what the next project might be but I certainly look forward to it with considerable anticipation of pleasure.
